Pre Juice Fast Day 1

I was So, being a typical 23 year old, when I'm not at work, I'm probably watching Netflix. My roommates and I have started watching Bates Motel, so when I'm home alone I don't want to watch ahead. That being said I was searching for sown thing to watch when I found "Fat, sick and nearly dead" again. I watched it and the need to juice came over me. I have randomly gained 100 pounds in 2015 and no test my doctor does shows anything. Maybe juicing can be the way to calm down whatever went crazy in my body. Yesterday I made a choice. I got my moms juicer (that hasn't been used in 2 years) and made a commitment to myself. 

Last night I stocked my fridge and counter with about $70 of fresh fruits and veggies. Apples, carrots, oranges, kale, kiwi, spinach and so on. I had been compiling juicing recipes and wanted to try a few out. I washed, chopped, and juices my first two juices at 9:30 last night. And they were AWESOME!

Right now I am testing out a pre juice fast plan. Fresh juice for breakfast then large salad at lunch and chicken with veggies and rice for dinner. 

This was day 1 of that plan. 

I was up at 5:30 for work today so breakfast was drank around 6. I was hungry by 7:30. I had made a second juice to drink as a midmorning 'snack'.  I was SO hungry by the time lunch rolled around! I made the easiest, biggest salad and went to town. The salad kept me over until 4:30 when intense hunger hit again. Thankfully I meal prepped so I could just heat up my chicken and rice and I had my dinner. 

I must say that everything I heard about it.. ummm... "cleaning out your system" was completely true. So thankful for a slow day at work and coworkers willing to cover the grill while I run to the restroom. 😅

I am hoping to complete a week of this pre fast plan then jumping into a 10 day juice fast. That's the plan now anyway. 😉
